From childhood, Dhoni is a person who put both his heart and soul in the game. He was exceptional in Football as a goalkeeper. But later he switched to cricket as a wicketkeeper upon his coach word. He struggled day and night to be the best.
He struggled day and night to be the best. He used to play for the Jharkhand state cricket board for the Ranji series and later to India A team. He was able to hit top scores but unable to get selected due to heavy competition. Though he did his best and later got recognition. As he was a young boy of his family and everybody expect him to get job and earn for family.
In order to fulfill their demands he got a job in Indian Railways as a Ticket Collector through sports quota. He did this to support his family. But he was unable to focus on cricket and job. So he had to quit his job. He has to convince his dad as his dad doesn't want to quit the job. Here we can see Dhoni is thinking and focussed about life.
When Dhoni was asked to be the Indian Cricket Captain he utilized it wisely. But in the team selection process he selected younger generation players avoiding experienced players. he has to face lot of troubles. But he was bold and firm in his decisions. Later he proved it by winning the "World T20 championship". He was very cool even in such complex situations that no one could do. and he become successful at the time when not a single person believes him.After that he became captain of the team.
According to the official website of Guinness World Records, "The most expensive cricket bat was Mahendra Singh Dhoni's bat sold at auction for 100,000 pounds (161,295 American dollars), bought by R K Global Shares & Securities Ltd (India), at the M.S Dhoni's 'East Meets West' Charity Dinner, in London, UK, on 18 July 2011. The bat was used by Mahendra Singh Dhoni in World Cup 2011 finals on 2 April 2011 art Wankhede Stadium at hit the winning shot."
Finally, MS DHONI had to face many struggles to be in a position right now. He never left the problems instead he had faced with his cool mind. It takes a lot to be MS Dhoni and his struggles will give a lot of lessons for us. His selfless service for Indian Cricket made him one of the greatest idols in Cricket history. And because of these struggles, Dhoni and his world cup bat both are famous.
